2. Which projects / activities can be submitted?

Please visit the awards website. Menu: Terms & Conditions.

3. What are the key deadlines?

For key deadlines, please visit the awards website. Menu: Key Dates.

4. In which languages can an entry be submitted?

An entry may be submitted in Greek or English.

5. Can I submit an entry for a project outside Greece?

Yes. Entries for projects carried out abroad are accepted, provided that the submitting company is based in Greece or Cyprus.
Entries from companies based abroad are also accepted, provided that the project was carried out in Greece or Cyprus.

6. How many projects / activities can I submit?

There is no restriction on the number of entries per company. Each company may submit as many projects/activities as it wishes, in as many Award Categories as it wishes.

Can I submit the same project / activity / campaign / initiative in more than one category?
Yes. However, each common project, activity, campaign, or initiative may receive up to five (5) awards in total per brand, supplier, or agency, regardless of the number of categories it has been submitted to.

If a brand submits different products or shared activities, how are they evaluated?
Each product of the same brand is considered an independent entry and is evaluated separately.

What happens if a shared activity/campaign/initiative is awarded in more than five categories?
If the same project is distinguished in more than five categories, Gold awards are granted by priority. If there are more than five, those with the highest scores are selected.

7. What information (requirements) do I need to provide?

To submit your entries through the online application, you will be required to provide mandatory information such as the entry title, participating company names, description, media-ready synopsis and media-ready image (see question no. 8), as well as additional entry details (see the awards website: Menu / Evaluation Requirements & Criteria).

Optionally, you may enrich your entry with additional information such as: brand name, other creators/contributors, relevant links, image gallery, charts, and a video link.

For tips on how to prepare a successful entry, please consult the awards website or contact the entries coordinator; you may also refer here.

8. What is a media-ready synopsis? What is a media-ready image?

The media-ready synopsis is a summary, usually up to 100 words, designed to provide a short but engaging overview of your entry. It must be completed during the submission of each entry. Tips:

  • Conciseness: Keep the synopsis short; do not exceed 100 words.

  • Clarity: Use simple and easy-to-understand language.

  • Focus on what matters: Include the key points, benefits, and conclusions of your entry and avoid commercial/advertising-style text.

  • Alignment with criteria: Make sure the synopsis aligns with the award criteria and the specific category in which the entry is submitted.

The media-ready image is the photo accompanying the synopsis (jpg, up to 5 MB, landscape, min. 75 dpi, 1920×1080 px) and must be submitted for each entry.

9. Is it mandatory to complete the media-ready synopsis and media-ready image fields?

Yes, it is mandatory. Both the media-ready synopsis and the media-ready image are published as submitted—indicatively on the awards website (winners’ list), in Boussias Media’s print and digital publications, on Boussias Media social media channels, in press releases to third-party print and digital media, etc. They may also be used to support the award announcement at the awards ceremony, if applicable.

10. In which category can I submit an entry?

Each company may submit its project to any category it wishes and believes best fits the category description on the awards website. An entry may be submitted in more than one category, provided it includes the description and supporting material appropriate to each Award Category. Each entry must respond with a clear structure and specificity, depending on the content and requirements of the category to which it is submitted.

11. Can I submit more than one entry?

There is no restriction on the number of entries per company. On the contrary, submitting multiple entries gives you the opportunity to benefit from the corresponding discount.

12. When can I submit in the “Other” category?

The “Other” category is for entries for which you cannot find a suitable category among the existing ones. Each section includes an “Other” category to serve this purpose. Entries submitted in “Other” are reviewed by the President of the Evaluation Committee, who decides whether they will be classified under existing (conceptually close) categories or whether new categories will be created.

The company submitting an entry in the “Other” category does not have the right to request a new category or choose to be placed in an existing one. Reclassification or the creation of a new category, as well as its evaluation criteria, are solely at the President’s discretion. In all cases, the selection of an existing category or creation of a new one takes place before the evaluation begins, so that the entry is comparable.

13. Are categories merged or cancelled?

The President of the Evaluation Committee reserves the right, after the submission of entries, to merge or cancel categories, as well as to transfer entries to a different category.

14. How is the accuracy of the information provided in the entries ensured?

Participants bear full and exclusive responsibility for the entries they submit, as well as for the truthfulness, completeness, and accuracy of the information included. The President or any member of the Evaluation Committee has the right to request further information and documentation for any entry. This information becomes part of the evaluation process.

If it is not provided within the specified timeframe, during the voting process the relevant entry will be marked as one for which additional information was requested but not provided.

15. How much does submission cost?

Please visit the awards website (Menu / Pricing & Cancellation Policy) for detailed pricing (early bird rate, full price rate, multiple entry pricing).

16. When must payment be completed?

Entries submitted at Early Bird rates must be paid by the end of the Early Bird offer period. Otherwise, pricing is adjusted without prior notice according to the applicable price list.

Payment for entries submitted at the full rate must be completed by the final submission deadline.

17. Can I cancel my entry?

Cancellation of a submitted entry is possible; however, terms and conditions apply. In case a cancellation request is submitted after entry submission and payment completion, the entry may be cancelled, but the amount paid is non-refundable.

18. What is the valid entry submission procedure?

For your participation to be considered valid, by the entry submission deadline you must:

  • pay the total participation cost, and

  • complete and submit all required fields/materials for each entry.

Entries submitted at Early Bird rates must be paid by the end of the Early Bird offer period.

19. Does the entry submission fee include attendance at the awards ceremony?

The entry submission fee covers only participation in the competitive part of the process. For attendance at a potential awards ceremony, the organizing company will inform participants about attendance costs and additional terms.

20. What are the evaluation criteria?

Please visit the awards website. Menu / Evaluation Requirements & Criteria.

21. Do all members of the Evaluation Committee evaluate all projects?

No. Not all members evaluate all projects. The organizing company proposes and the President decides the division of committee members into evaluation groups, ensuring there is no conflict of interest and that each member has a reasonable volume of entries to review and assess in depth.

22. How is meritocracy ensured?

No member knows which other members belong to the same evaluation group, in order to preserve anonymity and ensure impartiality of results.

Voting is secret and strictly personal, ensuring objectivity and preventing committee members from being influenced by the scores or opinions of others.

Evaluation Committee members do NOT evaluate:

  • Entries submitted by the company/organization or group of companies where they work.

  • Entries submitted by a third company (e.g., a client) concerning a project/transaction/case in which the company/group where they work was involved.

Committee members must also recuse themselves from scoring any other entry with which they have any relationship, by making the relevant declaration in the online evaluation platform.

23. How are entries evaluated in categories with no competition?

A. They are evaluated against the Section Average of the section that includes conceptually similar categories. The section average is calculated from all entries across all categories in the section, including those that are not awarded. If an entry scores above the section average, it is awarded Gold. This process ensures relative competition even for single entries.

B. Alternatively, the President may decide:
i. To merge conceptually similar categories—always before the evaluation process, or
ii. To evaluate at section level together with other single entries.

24. Can I apply to participate in the Evaluation Committee?

The person responsible for composing the Evaluation Committee is the awards producer. You may contact them to discuss the possibility of participating in the committee for the current or next edition. For the producer’s contact details, please visit the awards website. Menu / Contact us.

25. Can I submit an entry if I am a member of the Evaluation Committee?

There is no incompatibility between participating in the Evaluation Committee and submitting entries to the awards. To ensure meritocracy and transparency, safeguards are applied: committee members who are related (in any way) to a submitted entry are excluded from judging the entire category. (See question no. 21.)

26. How are projects evaluated?

Each judge evaluates the entries assigned to them comparatively, against all entries assigned to them and based on the given evaluation criteria. Evaluation is conducted through a digital platform. Each entry is scored from 0–100. The final score of each entry is determined by the average score of the judges and is validated by the President of the Evaluation Committee.

27. How are winners selected and how many are there?

Based on the Evaluation Committee’s scoring, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards are granted.

  • Gold: The entry with the highest score in the category, above the overall average. In case of a tie, multiple Gold awards may be granted.

  • Silver: The entry/entries with the next highest scores per category.

  • Bronze: The entry/entries scoring above the award threshold, as defined by the average of all scores.

It is possible to grant more than three awards in a category. If entries do not achieve the required score, the Evaluation Committee may, at its absolute discretion, decide to grant fewer than three awards in a category.

28. How are Platinum Awards granted?

Platinum awards are granted to the entry that achieved the highest average score from the Evaluation Committee among all winners within a specific section.

29. How is the Top Award granted and what applies in case of a tie?

The Top Award is granted to one company. If there is a tie between two or more companies, the award is granted to the company that has received the highest number of Gold awards. If there is also a tie in Gold awards, then the highest number of Silver awards (in addition to Gold) is taken into account.

30. Can I receive the judges’ scores and their comments?

Candidates receive feedback regarding their participation, which includes:

  • % distance below the highest score in the category

  • % distance below the Pillar Average (BENCHMARK)

  • Award Allocation Rules

31. Can I submit an objection or request a re-evaluation of the results?

As a rule, awards results are final and not subject to objections. However, re-evaluation requests may be considered in very specific cases, such as when there is a minimal difference from the immediately previous awarded entry. Such requests must be submitted in writing within 5 days of the announcement of results. If accepted, the President of the Committee undertakes their review and makes a relevant decision.

32. Are non-awarded entries announced?

Participants and submitted entries are not announced publicly. With the exception of the organizing company, participants and submitted entries are disclosed only to the Evaluation Committee members for evaluation purposes. After the announcement of results, only the awarded projects are announced.

33. Can an award be revoked after it has been granted?

Yes. The organizing company reserves the right to revoke an award from the winning company in case of logo falsification, modification of the award category and/or alteration of the award year.

34. When will the winners be announced?

Details regarding the date and the announcement/ceremony will be provided together with the communication of the evaluation results.

35. Is there an additional cost for attending the Awards Ceremony?

At the awards event you are entitled to one (1) free attendance to receive the award. The free attendance applies per participating company (VAT/Tax ID entity), regardless of the number of entries submitted or the number of companies mentioned in them.

For additional attendances, the organizing company will inform you of the cost, cancellation terms, payment method, and any other ceremony-related details when communicating the results.

36. What materials may I use to communicate about the conference or the awards?

For any type of communication regarding the conference or the awards (such as sponsorships, distinctions, participation in the event, etc.), please use only the official materials that will be provided to you by Boussias Events.

Important: It is strictly prohibited to falsify or modify the official materials, to use other non-approved materials for communication purposes, or to use the official materials for purposes unrelated to the event.
